First Production line: 

In 1981, UBE Industries Ltd. Japan had completed the erection and commissioning of the following:

·         Two raw mills.

·         Four blending silos.

·         Two clinker silos with a total capacity of 20,000 tons (In 2002, GCC installed dome silo to upgrade clinker storage capacity to 130,000 tons).

·         Four cement silos with a total capacity of 40,000 tons (In 2000,2002, GCC installed 7 more silos to upgrade cement storage to 70,000).

·         Two raw meal storage silos.

·         Four stage pre-heater with one Inline Calciner.

·         One rotary kiln (4100 t/d) 1.3 million tons yearly.

·         One air quenching grate cooler.

·         Two cement mills ( In 1998 one mill added by CEMAG, In 2004 second mill added by CEMTEC) with Total capacity of 2.7 million tons per year.

·         Six diesel engines with 30 MW  (In 1994 GCC commissioned a new Gas Turbine with rated output of 27.25 MW)

·         In 1992 (Rotary Packer along with auto and semi auto loaders with 2400 bag per hour).

Second Production line: 

In  2005, A new clinker production line with a capacity of 7500 t/d will be installed by ThyssenKrupp India and Polysius AG/ Germany to be commissioned with the following:

·         One vertical Roller mill type for raw meal grinding(600 t/h).

·         One blending storage silo of 20000 m3.

·         One bag house for dedusting (raw mill and kiln).

·         One pre-heater and calciner system with 5 stages and 2  strings.

·         One rotary kiln of 78 m with design capacity 7500 t/d.

·         One grate cooler with 2 stages.

·         One clinker bag house for dedusting 1.5 million m3 / h.
