Initially,GCC plant had been designed for a clinker production capacity of 3300 tons per day 1 million tons per year.    

Subsequently, as a result of the modification programme, the production output of the clinker has been successfully increased to 4100 tons per day 1.3 million tons yearly-  the first production line.

 Also In 2005 GCC signed a contract  to have second production line of clinker with a capacity of 7500 t/d.
